How we collect, use, and protect your information. Last updated: 20 July 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how Vintiseti — operated by Vintiseti, a sole proprietorship registered in Belgium (enterprise number 1025.816.174) (“we”, “us”, “our”) — collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit vintiseti.com, purchase our digital products, or interact with our services. We act as data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Information you provide: your name and email address when you purchase a product, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us.
Order and payment information: when you buy a digital product, payment is processed by our third-party checkout providers (Gumroad, Etsy, and Whop). We receive confirmation of your purchase and your email address for delivery; we do not store your full card or payment details on our own systems.
Technical information: basic information such as browser type and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the site working and secure.
We use your information to: deliver the digital products you purchase; provide customer support; send you the emails or updates you asked for; comply with our legal and tax obligations; and improve our website and offerings. We rely on the following GDPR legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver purchases), your consent (for marketing emails), and our legitimate interests (site security and improvement).
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — our checkout/payment providers, our email delivery provider, and our hosting provider — and only to the extent needed to provide the service. These providers process data under their own privacy terms and applicable data-processing agreements.
We keep purchase and invoicing records for as long as required by Belgian and EU tax law (generally seven years). Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@vintiseti.com. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).
Our website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function and remain secure. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Vintiseti operates the YouTube channel Vanished Histories (youtube.com/@Vanished.Histories) and an internal, non-public software tool (“the API Client”) that connects to the YouTube Data API. The API Client authenticates to a single Google account — our own — and is used solely to upload our own original videos to our own channel, set their metadata (title, description, tags, category, thumbnail), and read the status of our own uploads. It is not offered to or accessible by the public and has no third-party end users. We do not collect, store, sell, or process personal data of other YouTube users, viewers, or channels. The API Client’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke the API Client’s access at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions.
